                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF 
                   TWO THOUSAND (2,000) FEET OF WATER MAIN AND 
                   ONE (1) FIRE HYDRANT FOR PUBLIC FIRE 
                   PROTECTION AT LOCATIONS MORE PARTICULARLY 
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF 
                   THE TARIFF THEREFOR.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the installation of 2,000 feet of 
       water main and one (1) fire hydrant for public fire protection be 
       and is hereby authorized at locations described herein:
             1.	 1,400 feet of main on Echo Drive.
            
             2.	 600 feet of main to tie the existing mains together 
                 to form loops to increase gallon per minute flows.
            
             2.	 1 hydrant on Echo Drive approximately 700 feet from 
                 beginning of new main.
            
            
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that payment of the tariff to 
       the Hixson Utility District be and is hereby authorized.
